Day
1 - Arrive Zurich
On arrival at Zurich airport you are met and transferred to your
hotel. After check-in, we delight in a short orientation tour of
this lakeside city revealing its charm and beauty. Then some time at
leisure perhaps to shop or just relax. Later, we enjoy a welcome
drink with our Tour Director and fellow travelling companions.

Day
2 - Zurich – Venice (Main.) (2 nights)
This morning after breakfast our drive takes us through the Gotthard
Route via Bellinzona, before reaching lakeside Lugano. Here we enjoy
an orientation tour of this Italian-speaking Swiss resort. Later, we
continue our journey via Milan and along the Lombardy Plain to the
magical
city of Venice, where we spend the next two nights. This evening
dinner is served at our hotel.

Day
3 - Venice sightseeing & at leisure
Enjoy an excellent introduction on an included canal cruise by
private launch to see St. Mark's Basilica, the Doges' Palace and
Bridge of Sighs. A short stroll brings us to one of the oldest
Murano glass workshops, where we will witness a demonstration of the
ancient craft of glass-blowing. Then time on your own. Why not take
a relaxing gondola ride or sip a 'cappuccino' in St. Mark's Square. (Buffet
Brekfast / Dinner)

Day
4 - Venice (Main.) – Vienna (2 nights)
Today a full day of scenic splendours await us. We travel through
the Carnian Alps and across the great Alpine highway to the Vienna
Woods and Imperial Vienna for two nights. (Buffet Breakfast)

5 - Vienna sightseeing & at leisure
The Opera, Hofburg, Parliament, the Imperial Boulevards and more are
all highlighted on our sightseeing tour. Later, with time at leisure
relax or maybe sightsee further. Tonight, perhaps enjoy dinner at a
nearby 'heurige' wine village. (Buffet Breakfast)

6 - Vienna – Prague (2 nights)
This morning we cross the Czech border to visit the Italianate
gardens of the castle of Lednice. From here we continue via Brno to
the Czech capital, Prague for our two-night stay. (Buffet
Breakfast / Dinner)

7 - Prague sightseeing & at leisure
Hradçany Castle, the Old Town Square and St. Vitus' Cathedral all
feature on our sightseeing tour. Then free time to explore this
intriguing city on your own. This evening, we will enjoy a dinner of
local specialities at a characteristic restaurant. (Buffet
Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

Day
8 - Prague – Munich
Today's drive takes us through the Czech Republic to the
beer-brewing town, Pilsen. Next we travel via Regensburg to
fun-loving Munich. Here we enjoy an orientation on our arrival. (Buffet
Breakfast)

9 - Munich – Lucerne
We travel through Bavarian countryside to the Principality of
Liech-tenstein and Vaduz. Then on to lakeside Lucerne where an
orientation shows us the Lion Monument and more. (Buffet

10 - Lucerne – Depart Zurich
Time to bid farewell as we transfer you to Zurich Airport for your
return flight home. (Buffet Breakfast)

Airport
Transfers
- London Gateways:
Transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and
central London. When you book your tour with Trafalgar your
transfers to and from the airport are included. It's that
simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to and from your
airport and Central London.
- Important – Please Note: Passengers
will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports
providing the following conditions are met:
- You are staying at a London hotel,
booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night
prior to the date of your departure.
- Flights are either booked by
Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by your
Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
- Only one included transfer both
inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar.
Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station.
- Heathrow Express operates between
05.10-23.30. Gatwick Express operates inbound services between
05.20-23.45 and outbound services from 04.30-23.45. Transfers
outside of these times are at the passengers own expense.
- In the event of unforeseen events
(road or rail works, demonstrations, strikes) Trafalgar will not
be held responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers.
- No refund is available for
passengers not utilising this service.
- Why not upgrade to a Hotelink
transfer from the Airport to-the-door of your Trafalgar London
hotel? (please ask Trafalgar or your travel agent of the
additional upgrade price per person when booking)
- European Gateways: With
Trafalgar all passengers will receive complimentary arrival and

- VIENNA. Imperial Highlights
We enjoy a guided visit to the Palace of Schönbrunn, with its
magnificently preserved state rooms and exquisite gardens. From the
summer residence of the Hapsburg monarchs, we continue to either the
Imperial Treasures, the Vienna Opera House or the Crypts and Vaults
of the Imperial family for a guided tour.

- VIENNA. Hungarian Gypsy Dinner and Schnapps Museum or Prater Wheel
First we visit the cheerful Prater Park to take a gentle ride on the
historic Big Wheel and admire the picturesque skyline of Vienna.

how the local Schnapps is made and to taste some delicious samples!
Then continue to a Hungarian Gypsy Restaurant, where we enjoy echoes
