Day
1 - Arrive Munich
On arrival at Munich airport you are met and transferred to your
hotel. After check-in, we head out on an orientation tour featuring
the Olympic Stadium and Marienplatz, with its Glockenspiel clock.
This evening before dinner at our hotel, we enjoy a welcome drink
with our Tour Director and fellow travelling companions. (Dinner)

Day
2 - Munich – Prague (2 nights)
After breakfast this morning we make our way to Nuremberg for an
orientation tour. Then we cross into the Czech Republic to Pilsen
famous for its beer. Soon we reach one of Europe's most exciting
cities, Prague, where we spend the next two nights. (Buffet
Breakfast / Dinner)

3 - Prague sightseeing & at leisure
Our sightseeing shows us Hradçany Castle quarter and the Old Town
Square. Later perhaps enjoy a cruise on the Vltava river. (Buffet

4 - Prague – Budapest (2 nights)
Today's drive takes us through Moravia in the Czech Republic and
into Slovakia to visit Bratislava. Then we continue into Hungary en
route to Budapest, for the next two nights. (Buffet Breakfast)

5 - Budapest sightseeing & at leisure
Our morning sightseeing tour includes views of the Great Synagogue
and Fishermen's Bastion with views over the Parliament and Danube.
Then free time perhaps to shop or explore. This evening, we will
enjoy a traditional Hungarian dinner with music. (Buffet
Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

6 - Budapest – Vienna (2 nights)
We drive through Transdanubia to Györ. Here there's time for a
stroll in this charming medieval city. Later, we cross the border
into Austria reaching Vienna, for two nights. Tonight, why not try
some delicious schnitzel and strudel for a truly Austrian dinner? (Buffet
Breakfast)

7 - Vienna sightseeing & at leisure
After breakfast, our morning sightseeing tour highlights the Hofburg,
Imperial Boulevards and other main attractions of this Imperial
city. Then time on your own perhaps to visit a museum or shop in the
Kärntnerstrasse. Later, why not take in a concert of Strauss music? (Buffet
Breakfast)

8 - Vienna – Danube Cruise – Salzburg
First we stop at Krems to embark on a scenic Danube cruise. Next we
see the monastery at Melk before passing Linz to Salzburg for the
night. Here our sightseeing tour on foot highlights Mozart's
birthplace and more. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

9 - Salzburg – Munich
There's free time before we head back into Germany to Bavarian
Munich for the final night of our tour. (Buffet Breakfast)

Time to bid farewell to new-found friends as we transfer to the
airport for our return flight home. (Buffet Breakfast)

Airport
Transfers
- London Gateways:
Transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and
central London. When you book your tour with Trafalgar your
transfers to and from the airport are included. It's that
simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to and from your
airport and Central London.
- Important – Please Note: Passengers
will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports
providing the following conditions are met:
- You are staying at a London hotel,
booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night
prior to the date of your departure.
- Flights are either booked by
Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by your
Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
- Only one included transfer both
inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar.
Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station.
- Heathrow Express operates between
05.10-23.30. Gatwick Express operates inbound services between
05.20-23.45 and outbound services from 04.30-23.45. Transfers
outside of these times are at the passengers own expense.
- In the event of unforeseen events
(road or rail works, demonstrations, strikes) Trafalgar will not
be held responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers.
- No refund is available for
passengers not utilising this service.
- Why not upgrade to a Hotelink
transfer from the Airport to-the-door of your Trafalgar London
hotel? (please ask Trafalgar or your travel agent of the
additional upgrade price per person when booking)
- European Gateways: With
Trafalgar all passengers will receive complimentary arrival and
departure transfers on the scheduled arrival and departure day
of their tour at the times specified below. Please ensure your
Travel Agent reserves your flight to co-ordinate with the
transfer times shown.
- Trafalgar Bonus - Passengers who
book Trafalgar's Land+Air package and who arrive or depart
outside of these specified times on the scheduled arrival and
departure day of the tour will also be provided with a transfer.
- Passengers arriving before or
leaving after the scheduled tour days are not entitled to a
transfer but may book and purchase one through Trafalgar
providing that they also purchase the additional pre and/or post
tour hotel night(s) from Trafalgar. Please ask for prices of

- Land only passengers arriving or
departing on the scheduled tour arrival or departure days but

- VIENNA. Imperial Highlights
We enjoy a guided visit to the Palace of Schönbrunn, with its
magnificently preserved state rooms and exquisite gardens. From the
summer residence of the Hapsburg monarchs, we continue to either the
Imperial Treasures, the Vienna Opera House or the Crypts and Vaults
of the Imperial family for a guided tour.

Driving deep into the National Park past bucolic farmhouses and
picturesque villages, we arrive at the ruins of Obersalzburg. From

mountain climb to Hilter’s notorious ‘Eagle’s Nest’. Through
the arches we will have splendid views up to the ‘Hohen Göll’
and across snow-capped peaks.
