Day
1 - Arrive Zurich
On arrival at Zurich airport you are met and transferred to your
hotel. After check-in, we delight in a late afternoon sightseeing
tour of this lakeside city revealing its charm and beauty. This
evening, we enjoy a welcome drink with our Tour Director and fellow
travelling companions.

Day
2 - Zurich – Liechtenstein – St. Moritz
After breakfast, snow-capped mountains and sparkling lakes surround
us as we drive to the tiny Principality of Liechtenstein where we
visit its capital, Vaduz. From here we continue our journey via the
spectacular ski-resort of Davos and make our way up to the Fluela
Pass (when open), and past picturesque Susch to our overnight hotel
in St. Moritz. This evening, dinner is at our hotel (Buffet
Breakfast / Dinner)

Day
3 - St. Moritz – Italian Lakes (Baveno)
We ascend the Julier Pass and along the San Bernadino Route to
Bellinzona. Then we continue our journey to the Italian Lakes via
Locarno to pretty Stresa for time at leisure or perhaps to shop for
Italian souvenirs. Later, we check in at our hotel in Baveno from
where you may wish to take a cruise to visit the picturesque Isola
Bella. Dinner will be served at our hotel tonight. (Buffet
Breakfast / Dinner)

Day
4 - Italian Lakes (Baveno) – Zermatt
We drive towards the majestic Simplon Pass, 6,600 feet high. Later,
we arrive at Tasch where we board the electric mini-buses and taxis
which take us up to the picturesque village of Zermatt, still a
traditonal Swiss village of wooden chalets and window boxes. Here
there's time at leisure in the serenity and crisp alpine air of this
Alpine haven, so why not take a mountain ride for fantastic views of
the Matterhorn? This evening, we will enjoy dinner at our hotel.

5 - Zermatt – Montreux – Geneva
Our day begins with a drive through the Rhône Valley to Lake Geneva
where we view Byron's Castle of Chillon. From here we will continue
to Montreux and see the major sights. Next our journey takes us via
Lausanne to the cosmopolitan city of Geneva for the night. On our
arrival we enjoy an orientation tour highlighting the Reformation
Monument, United Nations' Building and the Jet d'Eau Fountain.
Tonight, why not enjoy an exciting and special dinner out with your
travelling companions? (Buffet Breakfast)

6 - Geneva – Berne – Interlaken – Brienz – Lucerne (2
nights)
This morning time to shop before we head off over the Brünig Pass
on our approach to lakeside Lucerne in its beautiful setting for two
relaxing nights. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

7 - Lucerne orientation & at leisure
After breakfast we enjoy an orientation tour around this medieval
city highlighting the Lion Monument, built in memory of Louis XVI's
Swiss Guard, and Chapel Bridge. Later with time on your own, you may
wish to take an optional excursion to a nearby mountain peak, famed
for its splendid views. Or perhaps join in the fun of a Swiss
folklore show, or simply choose to explore the old city and shop for
Swiss watches, cuckoo clocks and delicious Swiss chocolates. Dinner
is included at our hotel this evening. (Buffet Breakfast /
Dinner)

8 - Lucerne – Depart Zurich
This morning time to bid farewell to Switzerland and new-found
friends as we transfer you to Zurich Airport for your return flight
home. (Buffet Breakfast) Please do not schedule any flights before
10.30am.

Airport
Transfers
- London Gateways:
Transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and
central London. When you book your tour with Trafalgar your
transfers to and from the airport are included. It's that
simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to and from your
airport and Central London.
- Important – Please Note: Passengers
will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports
providing the following conditions are met:
- You are staying at a London hotel,
booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night
prior to the date of your departure.
- Flights are either booked by
Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by your
Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
- Only one included transfer both
inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar.
Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station.

Leaving the elegant guays of Geneva, our steamer cruises past the
