Day
1 - Arrive Tel Aviv - Jerusalem (4 nights)
On arrival, you are transferred to your hotel in Jerusalem. The
remainder of the day is at leisure to relax or maybe sightsee before
a welcome drink with your Trafalgar Representative.

Day
2 - New City of Jerusalem
After breakfast we make our way on to Yad Vashem, the Memorial to
the six million martyrs of World War II. Then in the Israel Museum
we will visit the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are
housed. Next on to see the Knesset, Israel's Parliament and the
Givat Ram Campus of Hebrew University. Your evening is free.

Day
3 - Mount Zion - The Old City of Jerusalem
The Old City of Jerusalem We visit the Tomb of King David and the
room of the Last Supper on Mount Zion before reaching the Old City
of Jerusalem. We walk through the newly restored Jewish Quarter to
the Western Wall to see the ornate Dome of the Rock. Later, we
follow the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa to the
Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Later we stop at Mount Scopus and the
Mount of Olives for a magnificent view of the Old City. (Israeli

4 - Jerusalem at leisure.
A full day at leisure in this fascinating city. Why not shop in the
oriental markets and sample the local cuisine?

Day
5 - Jerusalem – Dead Sea – Massada – Kibbutz (2 nights)
Our journey takes us through the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea, the
lowest spot on earth passing Qumran to view the site where the Dead
Sea Scrolls were found. We drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to
Massada where we ascend by cable car, to tour the ancient fortress
where the Zealots made their last stand against the Romans. Next we
explore the excavations of Herod's Palace. We continue to our
Kibbutz where we spend the next two nights. (Israeli Breakfast
/ Dinner)

Day
6 - Kibbutz - Tiberias - Nazareth - Meggido - Kibbutz
We drive to Capernaum, the old town of Jesus, and to Tiberias and on
to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation. Then to Meggido
to see the excavating of Solomon's Stables. We continue to the Golan
Heights to see former Syrian bunkers, Kunietra and the new Israeli
town of Katzrin before returning to our Kibbutz for dinner. (Israeli
Breakfast / Dinner)

7 - Kibbutz - Tzfat (Safed) - Acre - Haifa - Caesarea - Tel Aviv (2
nights)
First stop is Tzfat, to visit the ancient synagogue and Artists'
colony. Then to Acre to visit the Crypt of St. John and the
underground crusader city. Next to Haifa to admire the breathtaking
views of the Bahai Shrine. Then we visit the exotic Persian Gardens
before heading to Caesarea to view the Roman statues, the aqueduct
and the Roman theatre. Our day ends in Tel Aviv. (Israeli
Breakfast)

8 - Tel Aviv at leisure
After breakfast this morning, enjoy a full day at leisure to explore
this vibrant and exciting city. You may wish to visit the Diaspora

We transfer you to Tel Aviv Airport for your return flight home. (Israeli

Airport
Transfers
- London Gateways:
Transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and
central London. When you book your tour with Trafalgar your
transfers to and from the airport are included. It's that
simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to and from your
airport and Central London.
- Important – Please Note: Passengers
will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports
providing the following conditions are met:
- You are staying at a London hotel,
booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night
prior to the date of your departure.
- Flights are either booked by
Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by your
Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
- Only one included transfer both
inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar.
Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station.
- Heathrow Express operates between
05.10-23.30. Gatwick Express operates inbound services between
05.20-23.45 and outbound services from 04.30-23.45. Transfers
outside of these times are at the passengers own expense.
- In the event of unforeseen events
(road or rail works, demonstrations, strikes) Trafalgar will not
be held responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers.
- No refund is available for
passengers not utilising this service.
- Why not upgrade to a Hotelink
transfer from the Airport to-the-door of your Trafalgar London
hotel? (please ask Trafalgar or your travel agent of the
additional upgrade price per person when booking)
- European Gateways: With
Trafalgar all passengers will receive complimentary arrival and
departure transfers on the scheduled arrival and departure day
of their tour at the times specified below. Please ensure your
Travel Agent reserves your flight to co-ordinate with the
transfer times shown.
- Trafalgar Bonus - Passengers who
book Trafalgar's Land+Air package and who arrive or depart
outside of these specified times on the scheduled arrival and

leaving after the scheduled tour days are not entitled to a
transfer but may book and purchase one through Trafalgar
