Day
1 - Arrive Berlin
On arrival, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your
hotel. This afternoon we enjoy a guided
sightseeing tour of the city highlighting the Reichstag, Brandenburg
Gate and the Kurfurstendamm. Dinner is at our hotel this evening. (Dinner)

Day
2 - Berlin - Copenhagen (2 nights)
We travel north to Rostock and then cruise across the Baltic to
Denmark, where we soon arrive in wonderful Copenhagen, the Danish
capital. This evening, why not visit the famous Tivoli gardens? (Continental
Breakfast)

Day
3 - Copenhagen sightseeing & at leisure
The Little Mermaid, the Renaissance Stock Exchange, the Royal
Amalienborg Palace and the Christiansborg Palace all feature on our
morning sightseeing tour. The rest of the day is at leisure. (Breakfast)

Day
4 - Copenhagen - Stockholm
First we cross the Oresund into Sweden. Next we travel north through
lush forests and meadows to the resort of Granna at the head of Lake
Vattern. Then northwards to beautiful island-ringed Stockholm,
Sweden's capital. (Breakfast)

Day
5 - Stockholm - At Sea
This morning's sightseeing tour with a local guide shows us the
Royal Palace and City Hall. Stockholm is constructed on a maze of
islands and criss-crossed by many bridges, so it is a pleasant city
to wander through, which you can do before we board ship for our
mini-cruise to Finland. (Breakfast / Dinner)

6 - At Sea - Helsinki
An early arrival in Finland's capital allows us time for a guided
tour showing us Finlandia Hall, the Senate and Market Squares, broad
boulevards and the domed Russian Church. Then free time to shop and
sightsee further before checking in to our hotel. The rest of the
day is at leisure. (Continental Breakfast)

7 - Helsinki - St. Petersburg (2 nights)
Today we drive to the border with Russia, passing the timber centre
of Kotka and on through the town of Vyborg. Then we continue across
the forests of Karelia to St. Petersburg for our three-day stay.
With dinner tonight enjoy some complimentary champagne! (Breakfast
/ Dinner)

8 - St. Petersburg sightseeing & at leisure
Featured on our sightseeing tour this morning are the Tsar's Winter
Palace, Nevsky Prospekt, St. Isaac's Cathedral, The Russian Museum,
the Statue of Peter the Great and a visit of the St. Peter and Paul
fortress. Afterwards, the remainder of the day is at leisure. You
may wish to see the summer Palace of Empress Catherine the Great or
maybe visit the residence of Peter the Great in Petrodvorets. (Continental
Breakfast)

9 - St. Petersburg at leisure - Overnight Train to Moscow
Today there's time to relax in St. Petersburg. Why not visit one of
the greatest Art collections in the world at the Hermitage Museum in
the Tsar's Winter Palace? This evening after dinner, we board our
overnight sleeper train to Moscow. (Continental Breakfast /
Dinner)

10 - Arrive Moscow (2 nights) - sightseeing
It's an early morning arrival in the Russian capital. Here we have
breakfast before our sightseeing tour, which features many
outstanding highlights such as Red Square, the Kremlin Walls and St.
Basil's domed Cathedral.

11 - Moscow at leisure
During your stay, there's plenty of time to perhaps visit the
Treasure Chamber of the Tsars or take a trip to nearby Zagorsk - a
centre of Russian art and architecture, as well as once being the
religious capital of Russia.

12 - Moscow - Smolensk - Minsk
An early departure takes us via Borodino, site of Napolean's great
defeat. We stop for lunch at Smolensk before we cross the border and
enter the independent state of Belarus to Minsk. Here an orientation
shows us the Leninsky Prospekt and Victory Square. Tonight we enjoy
a dinner of traditional cuisine at our hotel. (Continental
Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

13 - Minsk - Brest - Warsaw (2 nights)
Today's drives takes us via the vast plains of White Russia and the
Pripet Marches to the Polish frontier at Brest Litovsk where we stop
for lunch. From here we cross the River Vistula before arriving in
Warsaw for our two-night stay.

14 - Warsaw sightseeing & at leisure
Our morning sightseeing features the Old Town, reconstructed after
wartime destruction and the site of the Warsaw Ghetto. This evening

15 - Warsaw - Berlin
Today we travel across the central plains of Poland to Poznan, with
its charming City Hall and Gothic churches. Then we continue to the
border town of Frankfurt-an-der-Oder and into Germany, where we are
soon are back in Berlin.

Transfers
- London Gateways:

This unforgettable haunting visit takes us through the opulent
splendour of the home of the pre-Revolutionary Russia’s foremost
noble family the Yusupov’s. It was here in the cellar, on the
night of December 16th, 1916, only 3 months prior to the fateful
February Revolution, that Felix Yusupov and members of the Tsarist
court conspired and murdered the infamous Rasputin, to finally put
an end to his public scandals and influence over the Romanovs. Our
tour is concluded with a visit to Peter and Paul’s Fortress, built
by Peter the Great as one of the first and most important buildings
in St. Petersburg and used as a prison before the revolution. At the
heart of the Fortress lies the Cathedral, where many Tsars are
buried. Recently restored it reveals the grandeur of the Russian
Orthodox Church.
