Meet our tour representative at the JAL counter (Changi Airport,
Terminal 1), two hours before flight departure for check-in
procedures. Then it's off to Tokyo for your flight to Hokkaido. |

Day 02 : Kansai
Airport Arrival - Connect Domestic Flight to Sapporo Airport
Upon arrival in Kansai Airport, connect to domestic on your own
for Chitose Airport. Free and easy upon arrival

Day 03 :
Furano -
Ginga Falls - Ryusei Falls

After breakfast,
start your day to Furano. Furano welcomes you with
beautiful wide space of natural wonders. Soak in the
plentiful and colorful summer sights. Insounkyo area,
the largest hot spring area in Daisetsuzan, you will
marvel at the Ginga * Ryusei Falls - locally
cherished as "the husband & wife" falls. View the
graceful 120-meter high waterfalls that flow like
shining silver threads. Enjoy photo taking to your
heart's content. At day's end, we will stay at the
Sounkyo Hotspring Hotel. Relax yourself in the
traditional hot spring or "Onsen" available in the
hotel.

04 : Otokoyama Sake Factory - Otaru Canal - Kitaichi
Glass & Music Box Museum - Sapporo Meiji Clock Tower -
Odori Park - Underground Shopping Mall - Suskino - Ramen

After
breakfast, we will tour Otokoyama Sake Factory which has
a 330-year history of brewing some of the best sake in
Japan. It has won the gold prizes in the various
contest. The next stop at Otaru, Canal will take you
into the rich past of Hokkaido. The rustic charm of the
canal area will capture your heart. Next, we will visit
the famous Kitaichi Glass Complex reputed for its
antique lamps and hand blown glassware. Also the tour
will take you to Otaru Orgel Doh, a red brick building
bousing the Otaru Music Box Museum for over a century.
Then it's time to pause at the Sapporo Meiji Clock Tower
before heading for Odori Park - the symbol of Sapporo
city. Centrally located, it is a beautiful place with
lots of flowerbeds and serves as the venue for the
annual Sapporo Snow Festival. Shopping is next! We go to
the Underground Shopping Mall and take in the bright
lights of Susukino, the entertainment area of Sapporo.
Oh yes! The Ramen Street awaits you as well, Ramen
anyone?

Day 05 :
Ainu Folk Village - Noboribetsu Spa Valley - Mt Showa
Shinsan - Bear Ranch - Lake Toya

After breakfast, we head for the traditional Ainu Folk
Village - for culture, handicrafts and souvenirs to take
home. Noboribetsu Spa Valley holds scenic beauty as well
as open areas to view sulphurous fumes spewing out of
crevices. Nearby, the area around Mt Showa Shinsan is an
exciting place to take in more great sights. Before
going up the ropeway to the summit for a panoramic view
of the surrounding areas, there are some nice shops and
a small museum showcasing the history of this history of
this volcanic area of Showa Shinsan. Feed the bears at
the Bear Ranch - the bears will be waving for your
attention. Next, Lake Toya beckons with heer splendors -
her calm and scenic lake area. You will marvel at a
group of small islands, Nakano-shima, "Floating" in the
middle of Lake Toya. Take in all the views and bring
home some great photos of the lake.

The package / tour
include Economy class air transportation where indicated.
All fares and fare rules are subject to change by the
airlines. Any increase in fare will be added to the tour
price and borne by passenger.
Meal
Meals will be provided as
specified in the tour itinerary.
Hotel Accommodation
All hotel accommodations are on
two persons sharing a twin-bedded room. For passenger
travelling alone, single supplement is chargeable. A maximum
of 3 persons (adult or child) is allowed to accommodate into
1 room. A family of 2 adults & 2 children (below 12 years)
in 1 room are strictly subject to availability & on request
only (as some hotels do not allow 4 passengers in 1 room).
Exclusions
The package / tour / extension prices exclude laundry, room
services, unspecified meals or tours, beverages, porterages,
excess baggage insurance, taxes, tipping & all other
items of a personal nature.
Taxes Local airport departure taxes and any additional city
development/construction fees imposed by the local government
are not included in the tour price. Gratuity is recommended and
customary.
Programmes, tour prices, services & conditions are correct
as the time of publication but are subjected to revision without
notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances like currency
fluctuations, increase in hotel rates, air fares, local taxes,
etc. Actual prices, programmes, service & conditions will be
given at the time of booking confirmation.
Request For Extension of stay /
Return flight An extension of stay at the end
of the tour is permitted, subjected to the maximum validity
& air ticket restrictions (applicable to booking with
airfare included as part of the tour fare). Any additional
charge imposed by the airlines or operators will be borne by
tour member. Flight & accommodation reservations during your
extended stay should be made prior to the booking of the
tour. Extensions are at passenger own expense and transfers
will not be provided.
Special
Requests If
there be any special request regarding special meals, dietary
requirements, adjoining rooms etc, feel free to inform us upon
booking. Such requests are subject to confirmation &
availability. Please confirm your requests with our office at
least 7 days prior to departure.
Group
Size
All tours require a
minimum number of 10 adult participants (for series
Tours) to operate or a minimum number of 30 adult
participants (for Incentive group) to operate.
JALSelect Tour reserves the
right to change the departure date of any trip, as well as
cancel any trip or optional extension that does not reach a
minimum level of participation. If The Organizer changes a
departure date for any Group Tour to another departure date
that departs within 7 days from the original departure,
cancellation penalties as described in this document still
apply should you subsequently decide to cancel. If The
Organizer cancels any optional extension for which you are
booked, cancellation penalties as described in this document
still apply should you subsequently decide to cancel the
base (main) portion of your trip.
Deposit
& Payment The
following deposit
payment of $500 per person is required upon booking. Please
note that payment of deposit
does
not constitute confirmation of tour. Full-payment inclusive
of all taxes are required and paid
not
later than 14 days prior to departure after confirmation or
at the time of booking if booking is made within 14 days of tour
departure date. Failure to comply with this may result in an
automatic
cancellation of your reservation & forfeiture of your
deposit.
Late
Booking Procedure Booking made
less
than 10 days prior to departure are considered late bookings
and required full payment upon tour confirmation.
Booking
Procedure
The Tour Booking
Form issued by The Organizer must be completed and sent to
JALSelect Tour Desk (the Organizer) by FAX 6-221-4798
at least 3 weeks prior to proposed departure
date.
The Tour Booking form is subject to any &/or all tariffs &
terms of conditions under which any accommodation,
transportation & other services whatsoever are provided by
hotels, transport companies, airlines, railroad lines,
steamship lines, owners or contractor concerned.
In supplement to our terms & conditions, additional charges
that stipulated by the respective tour operators & other
travel suppliers would be enforced.
By acceptance of such exchange orders, receipt, contract &
tickets, the passenger is deemed to have agreed on the
following:
(a) Every person participating in any tour / holiday
organized by The Organizer shall be regarded as
carrying his own risk with respect to loss or injury to
person or property.
(b) The passenger accepts full responsibility for losses &
expenses due to delay, sickness, weather, strikes, war,
quarantine or acts of God.
(c) The Organizer, their employees or agents assisting or
collaborating with them is not liable for any loss, injury,
accident, damage, delay or expense which may arise in anyway
whatsoever during the tour / holiday.
The Organizer is only an acting agent for the holiday
components & will not be held responsible for any charges,
acts of discretion or inconvenience caused by suppliers &
sales agents.
(d) In no case shall The Organizer or their employees or
agents be held liable for any causes outside their
reasonable control or from any act or omission of the
customer.
It is the passenger's own responsibility to obtain a
passport valid for at least 6 months from date of
departure & visa (if required) for the country to be
visited. Please consult your local consulate/embassy on visa
requirements. The Organizer cannot be held responsible or
liable for any expenses, reimbursement or refund of tour
prices if any passenger is deported or refused entry by any
country before departure or during the tour for whatsoever
reason, including but not limited to non-possession of
necessary visa.
Passenger, whom require special medical attention during the
tour for reasons of chronic disease, general illness,
pregnancy or physical handicap, need to advise the Organizer
when applying for the tour. Certified Medical
certification issued by certified medical authorizes
that passenger is deeming fit to travel.
Medical
Issue Medical
advice must be given to The Organizer in writing, at or prior to
booking, of any physical, emotional or mental condition, which
may require professional attention during the trip or may
require the use of special equipment. If passenger fail to
disclose any such conditions, The Organizer reserves the right
to refuse to allow passenger to take the trip and passenger will
forfeit the trip cost; and in such event The Organizer shall
have no liability, financial or otherwise. If
passenger is so challenged, passenger must bring and
be
responsible for all necessary items related to their own
condition. If any such condition arises after the trip is
booked, medical advice must be given in writing immediately.
Failure to advise shall release The Organizer and all
professional personnel from any liability related to such
condition or its treatment. Passenger's
health and safety during tour is The Organizer first concern,
but The Organizer is not
a medical facility. Passenger should be in good health to
participate in Group Tours. The
Organizer is not responsible for the costs of any medical
treatment that passenger may require during the tour.
Under
no circumstances is The Organizer responsible for the
quality of medical care, or lack thereof, passenger may receive
while on the trip.
Cancellation
Policy Notification
of cancellation of booking must be
made
in writing & received by The Organizer to be effective
& to avoid any misunderstanding. Any
cancellation per booking will result in the following cancellation fees levied
as accordingly: Prior
To Departure Date (Including Child / Infant)
More
than 14 days - Forfeiture of
deposit or 20% of total tour fare, whichever is higher
Between
than 14 days
till
8 Days - 50% of total tour fare
On
/ Less than 7 days - 100% of total
tour fare
Personal
Travel Insurance is strongly recommended.
If
cancellation is due to the rejection / non-approval of visas by
the relevant authorities, a full refund of all monies paid will
be made if the result of the rejection is made known to the
Organizer at least 14
working days prior to tour departure.
However, if
less than 14 working days but more than 07 working days
notice is given, an administrative of $50 / per
person will be imposed.
If
less than 07 working days notice is given, the relevant cancellation
charges as stated in this condition will apply. This is
applicable for all parties in the same booking if in the event
that the entire booking has to be cancelled due to only 1 person
whose visa has not been granted & is unable to travel.
Administrative
/ Amendment fee An
administrative fee
of $50 per person
per amendment will be charged for any
alteration
in the tour package contents upon
confirmation.
All amendments are subject to availability and cannot be
guaranteed. In
addition, the following administrative charges apply upon
issuance
of tickets: - Change
of flight or date before flight departure -
$75
/ passenger will be charge & passengers must pay any
applicable fare difference that may be incurred.
- Refund on tickets -
$150
/ passenger will be charge - Refund on tickets without
flight cancellation - $250
/ passenger will be charge
Unused
Tour Arrangements
No
refunds or
exchange
will be made for
any
missed or unused ground services, hotel accommodations or meals
when clients choose not to use the relevant services. Packages
are offered as one rate
and one inclusive packages.
Complaints
Any
complaints/claims have to be made in writing
within
06 days from the date of return. No responsibility is
accepted in respect of any complaints/claims that are made after
06 days return. All claims must be accompanied.
Any
and all claims for refunds must be
made
only to the original reservations office.
NO
other person, office, guide, agent or representative is
authorized to promise or to make refunds, or to promise or make
any change or alteration of these Terms and Conditions. All
claims must be made within 06 days following completion of the
tour. To be considered, a claim must be accompanied by
a
written authorization from our overseas agents and/or
hotels.
Itinerary
Changes The Organizer
reserves the right to alter any route, itinerary & / or
accommodation without prior notice to passenger if it shall
in its sole & absolute discretion think this fit.
The
Organizer reserves the right to cancel the tour or revise its
contents and service for any of the following reasons : natural
calamity or disaster, weather conditions, civil unrest,
suspension of service rendered by transport or accommodation,
provision of transportation not based on the original
operational plan, governmental orders, or other circumstances
beyond The Organizer's control.
Liability
And Exemptions The
Organizer shall not compensate for damages and/or losses
incurred by clients during the tour as stipulated in provision
if any of the following reasons apply:
(a)
Natural disaster, war, civil unrest, and alteration or
cancellation of tour itinerary due to such causes. (b) Cessation of services related to transportation or
accommodation facilities, and tour itinerary alteration or
cancellation owing to such causes. (c)
Orders of either Japanese or foreign governments,
immigration regulations, and isolation resulting from infectious
diseases, and tour itinerary alteration or cancellation owing to
such causes. (d)
Accidents occurring during the client's free activities (e)
Food Poisoning (f) Theft or Loss of passport or other personal item (g)
Delays, changes of schedule and route in relation to
transportation facilities, and tour itinerary alterations and/or
shortened stays at destinations owing to such causes
If any limitation and exemptions contained herein are
legally unenforceable, then in such event, The Organizer
shall not be liable for any claim by the tour member for
loss or damage arising from any cause whatsoever if it is
not proved by such tour member to have been caused by the
negligence or breach of contract. In any event, the
liability of The Organizer shall in all cases each tour
member not exceeding 50 percent of tour price in respect of
any loss or damage suffered by the tour member.
Right
To Reject The
Organizer reserves the right
to cancel or withdraw any itinerary or booking made for a
client. The Organizer also has the right to decline acceptance
or retain any member as a member of the tour if it appears that
such person (s) is likely to
endanger
the health or safety, or
impair
the comfort & enjoyment of others while on the tour.
No
Variation of Conditions These
conditions cannot be altered
or waived except by written agreement between the passenger
and The Company.
