Day 01: Home – Yangon (L/D)
Upon arrival, a warm welcome by our
local guide at the arrival hall where
she will assist and arrange your
transfers to your selected hotel for
check in. After lunch, embark on a
Yangon City Tour which takes you to the
Strand Jetty, Sule Pagoda - the heart of
the city surrounded by several old but
significant colonial style buildings
which will allow you experience how the
Europeans influenced Myanmar history and
culture. The tour continues with a visit
to a local Glass Blowing Factory and Gem
Souvenir Centre. These should offer all
a great opportunity to shop and buy some
gifts for family and friends. If that's
not enough, head for some free and easy
shopping adventures at Bogyoke Market
(also known at Scott Market) to browse
and bargain freely among the hundreds of
stalls for great souvenirs. Savor
bargains delights and thrills of
shopping among the many stalls and
hawkers along the streets of Chinatown.
End your day with an enchanting evening
visit to Myanmar's most revered
Shwedagon Pagoda - 2500 years old world
famous Golden Stupa where the dome shape
rises 98 meters above its base. Be
impressed at the richly layered exterior
of the Pagoda which the people of
Myanmar had pampered with 60 tons of
pure gold, After this grandiose
introduction to Yangon, you will be
invited to a local restaurant for a
sumptuous dinner. |

Day 02: Yangon – Twantay – Yangon
(B/L/D)
After a great breakfast buffet at your
hotel, transfer to the jetty for a
leisurely boat ride to Twantay -noted
for its pottery and an old M on Paya
complex and the local village life.
Sightsee around Twantay either by
trishaw or horsecarts. Visit a weaving
factory, see a blacksmith working in his
workshop. Visit the 76m tall Shwesandaw
Pagoda. This pagoda is almost as old as
Yangon's Shwedagon Pagoda. Visit the
local pottery cottage industry, which
supplies much of the delta region with
well-designed, utilitarian containers of
varying shapes and sizes. The pots are
made in huge thatched-roof shed. You may
even wish to purchase some of the pots.
Return to Yangon and continue your
sightseeing tour around Yangon. Visit
the all important "tooth Relic Pagoda".
A sumptuous dinner awaits you at a local
restaurant. Retire back to another
luxurious and comforts of your selected
hotel in Yangon |

Day 03: Yangon
(B/D)
This morning, you will have some free
time to explore the city or do some
shopping on your own. In the afternoon,
your guide will arrange to pick you up
at the hotel to continue your
sightseeing. Visit the Kaba Aye Pagoda and Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda
which is revered as one of the biggest
reclining Buddha image in Myanmar, some
say even in the world! A wonderful
dinner invitation awaits you at Karaweik
Palace – a restaurant located on the
Royal Lake. It was built in the style of
Royal Barge used by Myanmar's Kings for
official functions and festivities. A
traditional cultural show will entertain
you while you feast on the food. After a
fulfilling contented day's trek into
what Yangon has to offer, retire back to
another great luxurious night's rest at
your selected hotel in Yangon |
