For
Air Tickets Booking
(Passengers
must ensure that the following procedures must be adhere
to when placing a booking with us) |
|
Booking Procedures |
|
1. Booking
may be placed with us without obligation by
furnishing the passenger/s full name as per
passport, the requested and also the alternative
date of departure & return, the intended
destination/s and the preferred carrier/s. |
|
2. Seats are subject to
availability and it is only after a booking is made that we could
advised the status. |
|
3. Passenger/s could place
their booking with us in advance so as to have their seats protected
if any, and revert to us if they wish to have the ticket issued
before the ticketing deadline which was given by the airlines
concerned and will be communicated to the passenger/s. |
|
4. Furnish local contact, so
that we could reach you when any changes or new development has been
done to the booking, which required the passenger/s’ instruction. |
|
5. If we failed to hear from
you when the ticketing deadline is reached and we are unable to
reach you through the local contact, we will not guarantee that we
could hold the booking for you. Therefore, it is important to let us
know your decision before the deadline or let us have your local
contact, which we could reach you during office hours. |
|
|
Quotation |
|
1.
Airfares are quoted based
on current rates and are usually exclude taxes unless otherwise
specify, as taxes fluctuate with the daily rate of exchange for
foreign currency.
|
|
2.
Prices quoted may only
serves as an indication as it may change by the airlines concerned
due to unforeseen circumstances. However, passengers may cancel the
booking if price change is not acceptable to them before ticket
issuance.
|
|
3.
To remain competitive,
all our quotes are based on Cash Payment, other mode of payment may
be accepted at different price. |
|
|
Collection / Delivery |
|
1. Once the booking and
quotation is finalized, passenger/s will have to come to our
office during office hours to make full payment and we will
proceed with ticket issuance at passenger/s instruction.
Alternatively, passenger/s could post us a cheque which it must
reached / received by our office at least 5 working days prior
to the ticketing deadline which will be communicated to the
passenger/s.

2. Passenger/s will be
informed when ticket is ready for collection, passenger/s may come
personally or send a representative to our office during office
hours to collect the ticket.
|
|
3.
Delivery by courier may
be arranged at a charge to passenger/s account if passenger/s or the
representative is unable to collect ticket personally. |
|
|
Refund Procedures |
|
1. Passenger/s are
requested to note that certain special ticket may not have
refund value and the refund amount will be determined by the
respective airlines concerned when it is being send in to
process.
|
|
2. Thus, it is important for
passenger/s to check first before sending ticket to process refund
and do not assume all tickets come with refund value.
|
|
3. At passenger/s request,
we could help to send ticket to the airlines to process for refund.
However, airlines have reserved the right to reject any refund send
in at their own discretion.
|
|
4.
Please note that all
refunds are subject to no show fee, airline admin & cancellation fee
and agency admin & processing fee.
|
|
5. General processing time
for refund may take up to a maximum of 3 months depending on the
type of tickets and reasons for refund. Other complicated situation
may take a longer time depending on airlines’ processing procedures.
|
|
|
|
For
Tour & Package Booking
(It
is noted that our passengers are deemed to have read,
understood and accepted the following terms and
conditions as they apply to all J3 Travel tours and
packages.) |
|
Reservation Payment |
|
1. You
can book your package through J3 Travel or our
appointed agent. A non-refundable deposit of S$300.00 or
10% of tour fee (whichever is greater) must be paid upon
confirmation of the booking. |
|
|
Balance Of
Payment |
|
1. Final
payment is due 30 days before departures. If this is not
received we have the right to cancel the booking and the
deposit will be forfeited. If booking is made within 30
days or less before departure, then the full payment
must be paid when you make the booking. |
|
|
Tour Price |
|
1. Programme, tour prices, flight schedule, services
and conditions are based on the situation
applicable at the time of the publication of the
brochures. It is therefore subject to change with
or without prior notice due to increase in
airfares, other transport costs, hotel rates,
exchange rates, government tax etc. |
|
|
The Tariff
Includes |
|
1. Return economy class tour ticket. Such ticket(s) is
non-refundable, non-endorsable, non-negotiable, non-reissuable
and non-reroutable. Any alteration in the routine or
change of date travel by passenger is solely at his/her
risk. The company and/or its associated agents shall not
be held responsible for any inconveniences caused and
extra expenses incurred. |
|
2.
Any other means of transportation such as rail, road,
river, sea as described in each itinerary. |
|
3.
All transfer between airport/train station/piers and
hotels including baggage handling of one piece of
luggage not exceeding 20 kilos. |
|
4.
Hotel accommodation as stated in the brochure or at
hotels of similar category on the basis of two persons
sharing a twin with private facilities. A person
occupying a single by choice or circumstance will be
required to pay the single room supplement and is
subject to space available basis. |
|
5.
All meals as specified in this itinerary |
|
6. Sightseeing as specified in the itinerary. Although the
itinerary gives an indication of places to be visited,
duration of stay at each destination at sights to be
seen, this is subject to change without prior notice. |
|
|
The Tariff
Does Not Include |
|
1. Airport
tax, visa fee, optional tours if any, personal
insurance, transfer to Singapore airport, excess baggage
if imposed by the specific airlines, room service,
cigarettes, wines, mineral water, laundry or other items
of a purely personal nature. |
|
|
Child Fare |
|
1. Refer
to child under 12 years old on the date of departure.
The child fare is based on sharing room with 2 adults. A
surcharge will be imposed for a child occupying a room
with only 1 adult. |
|
|
Cancellation
By You |
1. the scale of cancellation charges detailed below is
calculated according to the number of days prior to
departure that notice of cancellation is received by us.

31 days - deposit only
16-30 days - 30% of package price
11-15 days - 70% of package price
< 10 days - 100% of package price |

|
Cancellation
By Us |
|
1. a full refund of tour fare will be remitted to you,
should there be any cancellation due to insufficiency of
group members or other unforeseen circumstances. |
|
2.
we may be obliged to cancel your holiday by reasons of
force majeure (war, riots, civil disturbances, strikes,
natural disasters, terrorists activities or threat of
such, closure of airport, ports or railways or
cancellation of international or domestic air and
railway service etc..) under such circumstance, we will
advise you as soon as possible if we can offer you an
alternative holiday of comparable standard or make
prompt full refund of all money paid less reasonable
expenses. However, we will be under no other liability
to you in such cases. |

|
Refund |
|
1. no refund or
reduction will be made to any tour members who
do not take any meal, sight-seeing,
accommodation, transport or other services
during the course of the tour. |
|
|
Rate Of
Exchange |
|
1. should
there be any major currency fluctuation or increase of
airfare, the tour fare will be increase accordingly. |
|
|
Travel
Document |
|
1. it
is the passengers’ responsibility to ensure that they
have a valid international passport with a minimum six
months validity from the date of departure. |
|
2. Relevant
visas and vaccinations may be required. Ample time must
be given to us for application of visas prior to
departure. Please note that the issuance of visa is
subject to approval by the respective embassies. |
|
3. You
are responsible for your own eligibility of exit permit
for National Service, including those who are now
National Servicemen or Reservists. |
|
|
Travel
Insurance |
|
1. We
strongly recommend all tour participants to purchase
travel insurance for trip cancellations, personal
accident, hospitalization, medical and loss of baggage
etc.. medical or hospitalization charges abroad can be
very substantial. The company can offer you appropriate
insurance. |
|
|
Extension Of
Stay/Return Flight |
|
1. extension
of stay/flight at the end of the tour is permitted
subject to the maximum validity and restriction of the
air-ticket. Reservations of flight and accommodation for
extension of stay is at the passengers’ own expense
and transfers will not be provided. When extension of
stay/deviation is unable to be confirmed, passengers are
deemed to be taking the original tour schedule.
Reverting to the original tour schedule is not permitted
once it has been confirmed. |

|
Liability |
|
1. the company, J3 Travel Pte Ltd, and/or its
associated agents act only as agents for transportation
companies, hotel contractors and other principals.
Documents, tickets and vouchers are issued subject to
those terms and conditions under which these services
are provided. |
|
2. J3 Travel Pte Ltd shall not be liable for
any default of its principals whatsoever and however
caused. |
3.
Every person participating in any tour or holiday
organised by the company and or its associated agents
shall be regarded in every respect as carrying his/her
own risk. The company and/or its associated agents shall
not be held responsible to any person as a result of the
following:
i)
inaccuracy, misdescription or changes to any tour or its
itinerary
ii) additional expenses due to delays or changes in all
of any transport, services, sickness, weather, strikes,
war, quarantine or other causes
iii) The company assumes no liability for any damage or
loss of baggage, personal effects or accident. It is the
responsibility of the passenger to effect insurance. If
baggage is lost or damaged through neglect on the part
of the company or its servants or agents the maximum
liability per baggage will be S$200.00.
iv) Deportation or refusal of entry of tour members by
immigration, authorities resulting from the possession
of unlawful items or holding improper travel documents
or other causes whose behaviour and activities are
considered as subversive by the foreign government
concerned.

4. the company and/or its associated agents reserves the
right to either or modify with or without prior notice
the itineraries, travel arrangements and hotel
accommodation in any way necessary or withdraw the
services of an accompanying tour manager, due to
circumstances over which the operations have no control. |
|
|
Complains/Claims |
|
1. All
claims against the company must be made in writing
within 2 weeks after the Completion of the tours. All
disputes if any will be subject to the Singapore Court
Of Law. All terms and conditions mentioned above cannot
be altered or waived Except in writing by a General
Manager or Director of the company. |
|
|
Remarks |
|
1. travelling on overnight train will share a quadruple
bedded cabin with shared toilet facilities outside. |
|
2.
should there be difficult and unco-operative tour
members during the tour whose act and conduct the tour
leader in charge deems to be unreasonable and
detrimental to the enjoyment, interests, well being and
safety of the other tour members and the smooth running
of the tour in general, the tour leader concerned
possesses full discretion to deal with such persons as
he/she deems fit including requiring him/her to leave
the tour. The decision of the tour leader in this
respect is final and conclusive and the company shall
not make refund for any uncompleted part of the tours. |

3. the sole responsibility of any airlines used in the tour
is limited to that set out in the passenger contract
evidenced by the ticket. Airlines are not responsible
for any act of commission or event during the time
passengers are not onboard their aircraft. |
