Victoria and Banff, plus a relaxing two and a half days on the train. Unpack

DAY 1 – ARRIVE
VANCOUVER
Check in to your hotel after a
complimentary transfer from
the airport. Your Tour Director will welcome you at the hotel in the
afternoon and answer any questions.

DAY 2 – VANCOUVER
– SUNSHINE COAST
Enjoy the
sheltered beauty of British Columbia's Sunshine Coast as we
cruise through Howe Sound and
Jervis Inlet
to Saltery Bay. Now it's on to our hotel in the
former fishing and logging town of Lund on the
shores of Desolation Sound. Tonight, join your Tour Director and
fellow travellers for a welcome drink and highlight dinner cruise on these
incredible waterways. Hotel: Historic Lund Hotel.

DAY 3 – SUNSHINE
COAST – VICTORIA
More incredible scenery
today as we sail across the Strait of Georgia to
Vancouver Island. We travel along the eastern shore,
via Nanaimo and
Chemainus,
to visit fabulous Butchart Gardens. After some time
amidst the floral displays, we continue to our hotel in
Victoria.
Tonight, we enjoy dinner at one of Victoria's great restaurants.

DAY 4 – VICTORIA
SIGHTSEEING
Enjoy an
orientation tour of
Victoria this morning,
visiting the British Columbia
Legislature Building, Inner
Harbour, bustling
Government Street, Market Square and
Beacon Hill Park. A highlight visit takes
you inside the award-winning Royal British Columbia Museum. The
remainder of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. (Full
Breakfast)
DAY 5 – VICTORIA
– KELOWNA
We return to the mainland
and follow the Fraser River eastwards over the
Coast Mountains into the
Okanagan Valley.
There is a stop to taste the wines produced locally
at one of Canada's premier wineries. After dinner,
why not take a stroll along the shores of Lake Okanagan?

DAY 6 – KELOWNA –
BAFF NATIONAL PARK
Climbing into British
Columbia's majestic mountains, enjoy an amazing trip through four national
parks - Mount Revelstoke, Glacier, Yoho
and Banff. View interior temperate rainforests, glacier draped
peaks and rushing rivers while exploring this fascinating landscape. Cross
the Continental Divide at
Kicking Horse Pass and
arrive in Alberta and the town of Banff,
set deep in the heart of the spectacular Rocky Mountains.

DAY 7 – BANFF AT
LEISURE
A full day is reserved
for you to enjoy the resort's facilities, or join one of the optional
activities. (Full Breakfast)
DAY 8 - BANFF - LAKE
LOUISE - YOHO
Stop amid the snow-frosted Rocky Mountain
peaks at Lake Louise and board a gondola. Ride up the mountain for sweeping
views over the lake and Victoria Glacier. Learn of the grizzly bears that
make these alpine meadows their home. After a
relaxing lunch at the Lodge of
Ten Peaks, return down the valley and (weather permitting) visit the
dramatic Moraine Lake. Call
in at the Spiral Tunnels, for a chance to spot a train looping around
itself, and at Natural Bridge,
before arriving at Emerald Lake,
the emerald-coloured jewel of Yoho National Park.

DAY 9 - YOHO NATIONAL
PARK - JASPER
Experience one of the world's most
spectacular highways - the Icefields Parkway. Drive through the heart of the
Rockies and marvel at the non-stop succession of huge peaks, immense
glaciers, cascading waterfalls, iridescent lakes and wildflower-filled
meadows, all capped by the stark grandeur of the Columbia Icefield. The
journey includes a guided tour of the Athabasca Glacier onboard a unique Ice
Explorer. Step out onto ice formed by falling snow as long as 400 years ago.

Pass to the hotel inside
Jasper National Park.

DAY 10 - JASPER -
OVERNIGHT TRAIN
Spend a leisurely morning in
Jasper before bidding farewell to your Tour Director and taking
your seat in Silver and Blue class on
board The Canadian. One of the world's great rail journeys, The Canadian
crosses the western plains and the picturesque lake lands of northern
Ontario to Toronto.

DAY 11 - OVERNIGHT
TRAIN
Enjoy high-class accommodation,
superb meals and impeccable service on board the train. See
forests studded with sparkling lakes and prairies stretching to the horizon.
Discover the unique pleasure of rail travel by moonlight as the gentle
rocking of the train lulls you to sleep.

DAY 12 - OVERNIGHT
TRAIN - TORONTO
The rail adventure continues, as you pass shimmering lakes and
forests, which in autumn are ablaze in orange, red and yellow. Arrive in
Toronto after dinner, where
you are met and transferred to the hotel.

DAY 13 - TORONTO
SIGHTSEEING
Cosmopolitan Toronto,
Canada's largest city, is yours to discover. Use your
complimentary 'Hop on - Hop off'
sightseeing pass to see the enormous
SkyDome, CN Tower, Ontario's Parliament
buildings, Queen's Park and the city's
museum row.

DAY 14 - NIAGARA FALLS
EXCURSION
Have your cameras ready as you
travel to one of the world's great natural wonders, Niagara Falls. Enjoy a
close-up view on the Maid of the Mist cruise. The region's climate is ideal
for wine-making, so stop off at a local winery for a taste before returning
to Toronto.

On the final day of your tour, a
complimentary transfer to
Toronto's Pearson International Airport is provided.
