cities of San Francisco and Los Angeles, and the natural wonders of Yosemite
and Grand Canyon National Parks.
DAY 1 – ARRIVE
SAN FRANCISCO
After landing at San Francisco
International Airport, take a
complimentary transfer to the hotel, where your Tour Director
will meet you in the afternoon to welcome you.

DAY 2 - SAN FRANCISCO
SIGHTSEEING
A morning tour of San Francisco
shows you the cable cars,
Union Square, the Victorian homes of
Pacific Heights and Golden Gate Park.
After an afternoon at leisure join a
walking tour through Chinatown, followed by a Welcome Drink and Chinese
banquet at a local restaurant. Ride back to the hotel aboard San Francisco's
famous cable cars. (Full Breakfast, Highlight Dinner)
DAY 3 - SAN FRANCISCO -
NAPA & SONOMA
Cross the Golden Gate Bridge
and head for Sonoma
with its historic plaza and streets lined with quaint shops.
Pick up a gourmet picnic lunch at the
Sonoma Cheese Factory and visit a local winery for a tour and a tasting.
Then enjoy fine dining,
wine tasting and views aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train. Hotel: The Lodge
at Sonoma, a Renaissance Resort & Spa.

DAY 4 - SONOMA VALLEY -
YOSEMITE
Travel through California's Gold Country to
Yosemite National Park.
Explore the floor of the valley with its spectacular
waterfalls, imposing rock
formations of El Capitan and Half Dome,
and abundant wildlife. Spend the night inside Yosemite National Park, close
to the Yosemite Falls. Hotel: Yosemite
Lodge at the Falls.

DAY 5 - YOSEMITE -
MONTEREY
Enjoy the peace and quiet of
Yosemite Valley before driving through the fertile San Joaquin
Valley. Stop at a historic fruit stand en route to
Carmel-by-the-Sea, where you
can browse the art galleries and shops. Continue along the
17-Mile-Drive past
Pebble Beach Golf Course, Lone Cypress and
expensive mansions to
Monterey. We end the day
with a lecture and private dinner at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Hotel:

DAY 6 - MONTEREY -
SANTA BARBARA
Head to San Simeon for a guided
tour of Hearst Castle, the grandiose estate of publishing magnate William
Randolph Hearst. Continue through the vineyards of the Central
Coast to the elegant resort of Santa
Barbara. Enjoy an orientation tour before checking into your
beachfront hotel. Hotel: Hotel Mar
Monte.

DAY 7 - SANTA BARBARA -
BEVERLY HILLS
Join a private guided tour of
the beautiful Mission Santa Barbara then pass through
Malibu to
Santa Monica, where you can
wander along the Santa Monica Pier and Third Street Promenade.
Visit the JP Getty Center with its
world-class art collection, then drive along Sunset Boulevard
to your hotel in chic Beverly Hills, with Rodeo Drive only a short stroll

DAY 8 - L.A. &
HOLLYWOOD SIGHTSEEING
Cruise past movie stars' mansions
aboard special minibuses, while enjoying entertaining stories from your
guide about celebrities past and present. In Hollywood, spot
the Hollywood Sign, view
Grauman's Chinese Theatre and
stroll along the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Experience the glitz and glam of
Hollywood on a private tour of the Kodak Theatre, home to the Academy Awards
ceremony. The afternoon is free. Perhaps join our optional

DAY 9 - BEVERLY HILLS -
SCOTTSDALE
Travel across the Mojave Desert,
home to the famous Joshua Tree. After arriving in Scottsdale, enjoy the
resort's facilities or visit Old Town Scottsdale.

DAY 10 - SCOTTSDALE -
GRAND CANYON
Head north to visit the ancient
Indian cliff dwellings of Montezuma Castle National Monument.
Continue to the artists' colony of
Sedona, in the heart of Red Rock Country. Now it's on through
Oak Creek Canyon to
one of the natural wonders of the world -
Grand Canyon National Park. A guided walk along the rim provides spectacular
views as the sun sets on the canyon walls. Hotel: National Park Lodges.

DAY 11 - GRAND CANYON -
LAKE POWELL
Relax and enjoy all the Grand Canyon has to offer this morning,
before moving on to the Historic Navajo
Trading Post in Cameron. Continue through the
Painted Desert and
Navajo Indian Reservation to
Glen Canyon Dam.
After settling in to your lake-front
resort, enjoy a scenic Highlight Dinner Cruise on beautiful Lake Powell.

DAY 12 - MONUMENT
VALLEY EXCURSION
Explore Monument Valley,
the true essence of the American West, where a local Navajo guide gives you
an insight into the weathered sandstone towers and buttes of this ancient
land. Arriving back at the resort, the rest of the day is yours
to enjoy.

DAY 13 - LAKE POWELL -
BRYCE OR ZION
Visit Bryce Canyon National
Park, home to naturally carved amphitheatres, balanced rocks,
gravity-defying bridges and rock spires of pink, red and orange hues. Enjoy
a leisurely walk along Sunset Point
to view the amphitheatre of monoliths known as "hoodoos."
Time at leisure before checking-in at the lodge. Selected departures will
continue on to Zion National Park for overnight.

DAY 14 - BRYCE OR ZION
- LAS VEGAS
Drive to Zion National Park
where you experience the colourful peaks, towering cliffs and lush valleys
on a private Zion Canyon Shuttle with live commentary. Then a
complete change of scenery as you hit
Las Vegas. Later, enjoy dinner served atop the Stratosphere. Hotel: Sheraton

DAY 15 - DEPART LAS
VEGAS
Bid farewell to newfound friends as your tour comes to an end. A
